jOrbital – jQuery round menu

Thinking of innovative ways to enhance user experience while using menus? Stop worrying as we now have a jQuery plugin called “jOrbital”. This plugin is used to display menus and its sub menus. At first, a small orbit is seen. When the mouse pointer is placed anywhere in the orbit, the menu appears in a bigger orbit. Depending on number of menus, circles are placed on the orbit. To select a sub menu, jus hover the mouse pointer over the menu’s circle and voila! Another orbit around the selected circle appears. Each sub menu can further have sub menus. The pop-out submenus can be planned on which side to pop-out. Such ways can be used to make the website more appealing.

NOTE: Not compatible with Internet Explorer 6/7.
